All of the above are major projects undertaken by UCCF: The Christian Unions in order to equip Christian students all over the UK to share their faith with their friends on campus.  The student world is a strategic mission field, influencing tomorrow’s leaders, facilitating the spread of the gospel worldwide, growing disciples of Jesus Christ and encouraging them to live and speak for Jesus in every way, both while they are still at college or university, and in their future lives.

A strategic mission field needs to be equipped by strategic projects, and UCCF has a need for a Project Delivery Manager who will drive and facilitate these projects, so that our resources will be used wisely in order that more students will hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

The role will specifically involve: consultative project definition, identifying financial and logistical implications of projects, planning and delivering the execution and implementation of fellowship-wide initiatives, and co-ordinating with other Team Leaders and with Directors in order to deliver projects which are high profile and of strategic importance.  The post-holder will provide leadership to projects, manage communication of projects, ensure delivery of projects, and evaluate projects after completion.  The role also involves providing logistical and administrative support on a number of strategic annual events through the Field Support Team, a team of 2 administrators reporting to the Project Delivery Manager.

The role will initially either be based in Leicester or require the post-holder to be in Leicester office 2 days per week.  Salary is £25134 pa.  As the role includes leadership with operational decision making and driving ministry objectives which affect the ways UCCF works with students, it is an occupational requirement that the post holder is a Christian.
