I have recently completed a degree in Sociology at Goldsmiths College and have chosen to do a discipleship training programme called ‘Relay’ with UCCF, working with Christian Unions for the next academic year.

The three years that I spent part of and leading a CU have had a massive impact on me and have contributed greatly to my spiritual growth. University is an important and influential few years, and the year on relay will provide me with the opportunity to pass on some of what I’ve learnt as part of a CU and in my walk with God and it will be amazing to watch students grow.

As well as doing this through meeting up with students it will also be an exciting year of personal reflection and good teaching, with three relay conferences, team times and regular supervisions with my staff worker Adele Pye. Although I know that the year will be a struggle as I discover more about myself and learn to trust God in every aspect of my life, it will also be an amazing year to focus on learning more about God and my identity in Christ. For the year I will be part of the ‘London team’ working with London School of Economics and City University.
