Dave was a UCCF Staff Worker from 1979 to 1982. He is a former UCCF President and is currently on the Advisory Committee of DICCU. He is still regularly involved in Durham, Newcastle and Stockton Campus, as well as the University of Sunderland.

Dave is author of three IVP titles, and until recently was pastor of Bethany Christian Centre in Houghton le Spring.  He currently leads a new church plant that meets in the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.

Dave is married to Cathie and they have two school age children, Jonny and Emma.
