John Stott: "We should, I believe, be praying and working for a whole new generation of Christian thinkers and apologists who will dedicate their God-given minds to Christ, enter sympathetically into their contemporaries' dilemmas, unmask false ideologies, and present the gospel of Jesus Christ in such a way that he is seen to offer what other religions systems cannot, because he and he alone can fulfil our deepest human aspirations"

John wrote these words back in 1992 (The Contemporary Christian) and I'm convinced many have been praying since. I consider it a huge privilege to take responsibility for some of the 'working' towards this as Graham and I draw together, train up and send out some of the finest of this new generation.

My immediate background is as a UCCF staffworker in Exeter, preceded by IFES ministry in Milan, Italy, and office work and history teaching in Bristol. I am married to Jane, who was also with IFES in Milan, and we enjoy exploring the UK, finely balanced tennis matches and delicious cooking.
