Relay Worker

Relay is a fantastic year of discipleship and training for graduates who love working with CUs.

The Relay internship provides graduates with great opportunities to be directly involved in gospel ministry among students, whilst also receiving excellent biblical teaching and training throughout the year. Relay Workers are a huge asset to the CUs that they work with and their sacrificial attitude to serving students provides a useful example for others to follow.

Relay Workers provide a staggering array of services to the students in the Christian Unions including, but by no means limited to, training Bible study leaders, helping to organise Mission Weeks, giving evangelistic talks and discipling students. Some Relay Workers have even been placed to start up a new CU. The time and energy that such people give to the work of UCCF is of vital importance in encouraging students to live and speak for Jesus Christ.

Relay is a voluntary programme and Relay Workers are supported by donations. thay are required to raise £6-8000 to cover their living costs and a further £625 towards training conferences and materials. It is a great way to learn dependence on God and on his people, and also to practise wise stewardship of the gifts that he has given us.
