The remit of the Institute embraces theoretical and applied aspects of political, social and personal ethics. The Director’s current research focus is political ethics and political theology, but the Institute will through its wider work support and facilitate research and dialogue in other fields such as economic ethics, environmental ethics, legal ethics, bio-ethics and medical ethics, family ethics, the ethics of sex and gender, the ethics of virtue and character.
