Next year I get the privilege of working with students from the University of Oxford. It blows me away to think of the potential of Oxford Inter-Collegiate Christian Union (OICCU)! Just think of hundreds of followers of Jesus wanting to share the wonderful Gospel with people in their colleges - people who they will live, study and socialise with for at least three years of their lives. Very few of us get such a strategic opportunity to be a Christian witness in a close-knit community like this! I can’t wait to encourage them in their urgent and valuable work.

Another thing that gets me really excited about Oxford is the number of international students who study here. I am really looking forward to getting involved in café 360, a weekly café which helps to facilitate friendships between home and international students. I have a passion for people from a Muslim background to hear about our loving God and wonderful saviour, Isa. For that reason, I am thrilled to be able to assist an Oxford Student to initiate a specific ministry to reach out to people from a Muslim background.
