Ben was brought up in a Christian family and became a Christian at the age of 14. After being a civil servant for a year after finishing his A-levels, he moved to Exeter to read Sport and Exercise Science. Throughout this time Ben was an active member of the Christian Union.

After graduating Ben worked for a church in Exeter, where he worked alongside University Students. Ben has now moved along the South Coast to Brighton to work with Brighton, Chichester and Sussex University Christian Unions.

Ben is a keen sportsman and plays any and all sports but he especially likes to play Badminton and Football. Outside of the sports field he enjoys watching films and eating.
