Laura enjoyed studying at Exeter University where she understood who Jesus was the first time. She was struck by how her church and Christian Union loved Jesus and became really excited about reading the Bible - seeing Jesus' life and God's plans for the world! It was a great opportunity to challenge things and to see that what the Bible said was true and reflected life. She loved the opportunities she was given to explore the Bible and teach it with youth and students and has spent 2 years working in a rural Essex church doing 'a bit of everything' from youth work and music to chair moving and CU missions. She also attended the Cornhill Training Course for Bible teachers.

Laura is VERY excited about the chance to work with students, seeing lives transformed as they get to know Jesus and tackling the reality of a life following Him. She can often be heard describing things as 'amazing' and particularly likes drinking vanilla lattes with friends, big waves in the sea, urban dance and trying to do ridiculous things like rollerblading and climbing.
