Ben grew up in a Christian family and became a Christian down at a summer camp, aged 15. His gap year working on a team with Latin Link in Peru was also a particularly formative time for him. He read History with European Study at Exeter University, popping over to Strasbourg for a year to study in a French University.

Since graduating, Ben has loved working at a church in Exeter for the year, with students from the university. He is really looking forward to encouraging Christian students in Birmingham to live out the gospel in a university context.

In his spare time Ben enjoys playing most sports and tries to get along to watch Tranmere Rovers when he can. He is also a keen musician and avid Yes Minister fan.
