Matt studied history at the University of Warwick, and after graduation spent several years working for one of the government-owned banks - you can guess which one!

Despite having grown up in a Christian family, it wasn’t until becoming involved with the CU at Warwick that Matt really understood what it meant to be a Christian – to trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, and to respond to what he has done for us by actively living our lives for him. It is this personal experience of the transformational work that God does through CUs that has led Matt to want to support and resource students as they live for Jesus and speak for Jesus.

Having lived in the West Country for most of his life, Matt naturally associates himself with two great sporting icons from the area – Bristol City FC and Jenson Button. Matt is probably overly passionate about Formula One, loves listening to music by Hanson and watching films, has worryingly neat handwriting, and occasionally enjoys running (slowly.)
