University years are unprecedented opportunities to reach people for Christ, unlike any other here in the UK at present. Few churches will ever get the opportunity to give 8000 people per year a chance to hear and respond to the gospel. Students are often seen as the most openminded group of people to the gospel and many of them from around the world will often go back to other countries and have big influences.

Not only this, but Universities are where academics can influence their field of work and redeem it for Christ. Here, if Christians are trained in thinking Biblically, massive inroads can be made in various fields that will then impact lives in the workplace, as Christians are better equipped to have a Biblical mind-set to work.

And yet despite these fantastic opportunities, we often have a small group of students who feel powerless, weak and inadequate to do anything on their campus. Many come from churches where the Bible is not faithfully taught, and for many, evangelism seems the scariest thing on earth, never mind trying to apply Christianity to their course. And that’s why I’d love you to join with me in this mission field.
