I became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age of 19, six weeks before I went to University in Eastbourne. Since then the Christian Union, its members and my UCCF Staff Worker have been a source of such encouragement to me - they supported me when I got things wrong, they prayed for me and went out of their way to be brothers and sisters.

But more than that, the CU has provided others with the chance to have their lives changed in the way that mine was on that August evening in 2008, by hearing that Jesus offers them life to the full. CUs across the country are living and speaking for Jesus on their campuses, planting seeds in people’s hearts as they ask God to give people what they have been waiting for; a relationship with the God who made them and loves them.

Doing Relay is a way that I can continue with this vision to see students across the UK get an opportunity to hear and respond to the great news of Jesus Christ! If you would like to join in with this vision, please get involved!
