Having just completed a 3 year Primary Education course the natural step would have been for me to go and get a teaching job, however God had other plans. I initially only ever saw Relay as a gap year for those who didn’t really know what to do next (how wrong was I!).

Ironically here I am about to begin the programme myself, only through God having changed my heart. Throughout my university life I’ve had the amazing privilege to serve with the Christian union, which has really challenged me and shaped my view of what my motivation should be for mission. I’ve also been brought to a greater awareness of how sufficient Jesus sacrifice is and the freedom that is found in having my identity in Him. It has been great to work alongside brother and sisters in making Jesus known among our friends. I’m really excited to be taking part in the relay programme.

It’s such a privilege to be able to take these ten months to spend time studying God’s word and work alongside Teesside CU and call it work! I’d really appreciate you partnering with me in this work whether that is through prayer, financially or both!
