My name is JP Wright, and I grew up in Harrogate; the heart of North Yorkshire. I have just spent the last 4 years at Durham University, studying Electronic Engineering, and am now set to do Relay – a 10 month discipleship and training scheme with the UCCF.

Being part of a CU whilst at University is immensely beneficial with many unique opportunities; I learned a lot from the Christians around me about loving Christ, trusting God in all of life and speaking to my friends about the hope that I have. I'm very excited to be able to work with students again now, helping Christians to live and speak for Jesus.

It'll be a busy and challenging year, but a fantastic opportunity to depend more on God and be trained for the future. I will be working with Christians in Durham University and Sunderland University and helping them to share the gospel through their lives.
