Jo coordinates the team in the North East which stretches from Newcastle to Sheffield.  Jo is originally from the wonderful city of Liverpool (no scouser jokes please!) and studied Religious Studies at Lancaster University.  The CU there was really significant in helping her get rooted as a Christian and gain confidence in evangelism.  Jo’s work involves supporting the Staff and Relay team in the region, coordinating training for Staff and students in the region and being part of UCCF’s Leadership Team.  Jo also does some direct student work supporting Durham CU.

Jo is married to Paul who is an R.E. teacher and they are both interested in popular culture and love watching films, listening to music and reading.  Jo is passionate about helping students think through what the Bible has to say about the whole of life and helping students speak for Jesus in a way that is persuasive and engages with the culture they are in.
