Simon grew up in Warrington in a family where Jesus was known and loved, for which he is very grateful. School days were spent playing football, hating church and trying to be a nice bloke. By the end of school God had worked a miracle and brought a proud, self obsessed sinner to belief in Jesus Christ. Since then, Simon has spent time in Thailand, four years studying History in York, and the last few in Sheffield as a ministry trainee.

Simon spends his time working with students at Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam and Hull Universities, and loves the opportunities to share the gospel with anyone and everyone. Outside of the student world Simon plays rugby, tries not to get downhearted by Liverpool FC, enjoys time with his ever-growing family, and meeting up with people from his church family in Sheffield.
