Nick went to Lancaster University where he became a Christian through friends in the Christian Union, finally giving his life to Jesus in the university night club.

Upon graduating Nick spent a year doing Relay at UCLan (Preston) before heading to the far north of Carlisle to do a Primary PGCE. Nick was surprised to find how much he enjoyed Carlisle and stuck around after landing a teaching job before the bigger surprise of feeling God calling him to ministry. Nick then became part time youth worker at St James Church Carlisle, which he massively enjoys and continues to do.

Having been a part of Carlisle CU during his PGCE, and been massively encouraged by it's growth and gospel focus, Nick was eager to continue to help and support the CU once again, this time on staff.

In his spare time Nick enjoys many hobbies particularly football in any form but especially watching the mighty Blackburn Rovers.
