Matt joined the UCCF Staff Team in August 2008. A ‘Tractor Boy’ at heart, Matt hails from the Suffolk town of Ipswich. After graduating from Lancaster University he moved to Liverpool working firstly for a city centre church before taking on a post in a local secondary school teaching English.

Matt is married to Jacky who is a music Phd student and electro acoustic artist at the University of Liverpool, both of them have a strong interest in performance art and are making the most of being in The European Capital of Culture. Both Matt and Jacky have a passion for international mission and have been involved in outreach to international students in Merseyside; as such Matt enjoys learning languages and eating international cuisine and is attempting to do more of both with Chinese.
