Rachel will be working with CUs in the Manchester area, focussing on Manchester Metropolitan University, Royal Northern College of Music and Cheadle and Marple Sixth Form College, resourcing Christian students for the exciting task of living and speaking for Jesus on campus, in hall and all the spaces in between too, e.g. along the curry mile.

Rachel is from the south, but has since abandoned the place! Rachel studied Russian and International Relations at the University of St Andrews and in the long dark years since graduation has worked for a mushroom farm, a language school, a bus company and then for IFES as a Christian Union student worker in Rostov-on-Don, in the south of Russia. Rachel has a not-very-secret passion for all things Russian, likes to travel whenever possible, but when not is a bit of a homebody and enjoys entertaining, duvets, tea and movies.
