I am Andrew Barker, or Andy to those who haven’t been introduced to me by my Mum. By the time I embark on my Relay year I will (hopefully) be a Graduate of Newcastle University with a BA Hons in Fine Art. I am looking forward to the coming year as I know God has a lot in store for me; other than Relay I am getting married, so big changes are coming!

But what will I be doing on Relay? Relay is a voluntary discipleship year run by UCCF, in which I will be working alongside UCCF staff to equip and build up the Christian Unions. As a student, I found my CU to be an invaluable source of encouragement and Christian support on campus, and so I look forward to the challenges and opportunities this will throw at me; chances to build up students, tell others of God’s great love and all while studying and receiving training to better equip me to live for Christ.
