Student Council Rep
I think my friends would agree with me that I like to think of myself as the most Scottish person ever born in England. Born in deepest darkest Englandshire but bred a Scot, I was blessed with being brought in a Christian family in the very beautiful Northumberland, where The Garden of Eden is rumoured to be. I then went up north to study Civil Engineering at Dundee University where I am going into my fourth year. While I’m there; I enjoy coaching the university's women’s rugby team, reminding people from south of the angel of the north that they are southerners, meeting and discussing the bible in coffee shops and taking part in various debates in the university representing the Christian view point.
In my first year at university I became a hall group leader and a year later became president of the CU. This provided me with a much wider view then what I had before in what a CU is, how they should run and it vastly increased my love for the gospel. But most of all, it showed me more that it’s all about Jesus and it's all for his glory. It’s never about us. "It" not just being the work of the CU. But rather, "it" being everything that we do. Really looking forward to representing Scotland on the student council.
