I am very excited about starting Relay. It will place me in challenging situations like leading bible studies with students, running Christian Union missions events and talking about my faith in public. I am also looking forward to the grace-centered study program, which will help ground and support me in the year and the rest of my life. I thirst to thirst more for God’s word and this will be a great springboard for me.

Throughout my time studying at Bournemouth University, I was actively involved in the CU committee, which showed me how exciting it was to be God’s hands and feet. It taught me to rely on God in our weaknesses, and I saw great things happen as people came to faith and had their lives powerfully transformed.

I hope that Relay will spur me on to do great things for God’s kingdom. The year out could be seen as a scary move while all of my friends are getting jobs, but with the year being dedicated to God, I’m sure he will bless it. I just want to be used powerfully by him, and look forward to this opportunity.
