Cat Caird
CU Staff Worker
Cat's life turned upside down when she became a Christian just before going to University at the age of 18. But it was at University and through the Christian Union that she began to grow as a Christian and understand more of what it means to have a deep relationship with Jesus. Also through the Christian Union she saw the opportunities of sharing the Gospel with students on campus which inspired her to do the same, and so after completing a 4 year degree in Computing, she spent one year working with students as a Relay Worker in Exeter and one year as a Relay Homestarter in Peru. Over these two years she learnt more about God, Grace, Spanish and student work in two very different cultures.
Now back in England, Cat is working with Plymouth CU's and enjoys encouraging, praying and reading the bible with students, whilst also helping them biblically engage with culture and share Jesus with their friends. In her spare time Cat likes to blog, watch films, travel to different cultures, take photos and most of all enjoy a good strong cup of coffee with a book in hand!
