“My name is Sean Kennedy and I was born in Plymouth. I studied geography at Exeter University and graduated in 2007.I studied at Exeter’s new Cornwall campus and was apart of Falmouth Christian Union. It is exciting to be on Relay, working alongside the Christian Union in Falmouth. Both University campuses (Exeter and Falmouth) are growing rapidly and this is producing evermore opportunities to share the gospel with students in Cornwall. I will be supporting smaller Christian Unions at further education establishments across Cornwall. These are particularly challenging environments for Christians because of the peer pressure and opposition to the Gospel.

I look forward to working with my supervisor Kenny Robertson and the rest of the South West team as well as with students across Cornwall. At University I was an evangelism Co-ordinator and I am excited to see Christian unions in Cornwall, from comparably large CUs to very small CUs, putting an emphasis on evangelism and making this a priority despite its daunting appearance.

I pray that through my ministry to individuals and groups I can encourage and equip them to make disciples of Christ among students in Cornwall.”
