I would like to tell you a story, about me. Hopefully by now you know what Relay is and how important it is about telling students the Gospel. Well in my first year, I met Gemma, my flat-mate, who was a Christian. She was part of this, “Falmouth Christian Union” and also went to Church. A whole university year passed and I just wasn’t interested.

In my second year of university, I felt lost and some personal relationships were breaking down. I really wanted someone or thing to fill the gap in my heart. I longed for a prince charming to whisk me off my feet and take away my heavy heart and make me happy, but I knew that no man could patch up my old wounds. Wonderfully, God stepped in and made Himself known to me during my sleepless nights and worked through Gemma to point me to Christ. I attended Christianity Explored, the Christian Union and a summer mission with Latin Link…and here I now stand doing Relay! Praise God.

All I pray for this year is that a similar story happens to another student because knowing that we are children of a loving God is just breathtaking.
