Jim and Claire Walford studied in Bristol, fell in love in Bristol and, through the CU, had their first taste of Christian ministry in Bristol. Since then Jim has worked in churches in London and in the US but was thrilled to be able to return not just to student ministry, but to student ministry in Bristol! Jim is driven by the conviction that the gospel is true. As a CU staff worker his great desire is to help the CU members deepen in this conviction so that the gospel might be proclaimed with confidence and passion throughout the university.

In his spare time Jim enjoys running, reading, hanging out with friends and spending time with Claire.
