Daniel is working with students in Mid Wales. As he starts his time at UCCF, he looks back on 9 years working for the NHS in Birmingham in the field of Cardiology. During this time he has also worked part time for an inner city hostel for the homeless (ages 16 – 25) and latterly has headed-up the youth work at his church. He is now very pleased to be returning to his birthplace, Aberystwyth and is also looking forward to speaking Welsh again!

Whilst at University, Daniel benefited greatly from the work and witness of UCCF staff. He became very aware also of the potential for students to grow spiritually during their time at university. Conscious of the great privileges and freedoms Christians enjoy in this country, Daniel is keen to see Christian students in colleges and universities, not only encouraging one another, but also sharing the good news of the gospel with others.

In his spare time Daniel enjoys a range of sporting activities including going to the gym, playing tennis and water sports in general. Being Welsh, he is also a keen rugby fan and a great supporter of the national team. He also enjoys music, film and art.
