Wales Update
What an encouraging term!
- 100s of Christian Freshers have joined CUs
- 2 new CU groups are starting to emerge in Cardiff
- Freshers are reading the Bible with their friends and at least 1 has become a Christian so far
Just a few of the highlights from the term, and as a team we are so excited by the Lord’s goodness to individuals and CUs in Wales.
Still – there’s so much to do, so many students who have never heard of Jesus and some of them have never even met a Christian! That’s why the Christmas season is such a great time to give students across the country the opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ. CUs large and small have planned carol services, Christmas parties, Christmas questionnaires and gospel distributions before the end of term. So please pray that Christian students would be bold and invite their friends to the different events. Pray that people would come to believe in Jesus Christ, who became a man and lived for a while among us!
Next term the mission continues with lots of CUs planning special events and mission weeks to share the love and message of Christ. Do you know what your CU is planning? Why not check with your CU leaders before the end of term and start praying over Christmas!
Colossians 4: 2-3
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message…
