Summer Teams
UCCF Summer Teams
Opportunities to live and speak for Jesus as a student are not confined to term-time, or to your campus. The summer vacation opens up unique opportunities to serve alongside students in CUs around the world.

Summer Teams are your chance to be involved in evangelism outside of the student world. UCCF: The Christian Unions run overseas teams, international outreaches and urban summer teams. Get involved in changing the world - go on a summer team!

Overseas Teams
Overseas Teams go all over the world. They aim to help build student movements in countries who don’t have the history or resources of the CU movement in the UK. Usually these teams are in partnership with IFES, but some are also with other Christian mission agencies.
International Outreach
International Student Outreach Teams aim to take advantage of the world coming to us! Thousands of international students come to the UK to study English each summer. These teams aim to engage with these international students and share the gospel with them. Outreach cafes in the evenings are a key part of these teams.
Urban Summer Teams
Urban Summer Teams work with churches whose mission is among the poor and marginalised in places like Edinburgh and the East End of London.
What happens on a Summer Team?
Each team and country visited is unique, but students who go on Summer Teams return home challenged and changed by the experience. Activities may include leading Bible studies for Christians and non-Christians, English lessons, running sports camps, doing practical work, carrying out surveys, or even running campus missions.
If you're heading abroad, there’s the Summer Teams Orientations Conference before you go, where all the teams will meet at the Quinta Centre for Bible teaching, worship, prayer and seminars to prepare together. Dates are June 3-5 2011, cost is included in your Summer Teams budget.
