As we chatted before the "Grill a Christian" event in freshers' week, a Christian fresher asked me, "What do Muslims believe?" I was slightly surprised that someone from the UK didn't know anything about Islam yet - but I was sure that at a CU outreach event at Aston University she'd soon hear! Sure enough, an interested young man piped up quite soon with 2 of the usual questions: "How can God be three?" and "But if you say Jesus is God, then God died! How can God die?" Give thanks for Christian freshers being strengthened in the faith as they hear such questions answered, for the CU leaders being encouraged that such events are fruitful, and for those non-Christians present who heard some answers to their questions. Pray especially for those many Muslims at Aston, that they would indeed ask these questions, and hearing the answers, would see the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
