Each year we encourage churches, prayer groups and Christian Unions to join with us in praying for the witness of students through CUs across the country.

This year, we will be particularly focussing our prayers on student evangelism, praising God that the gospel is regularly being proclaimed to thousands of unbelievers.  We will also bring you updates about the Christian Unions who are still facing opposition because of their desire to be a Christian witness on campus.  Thank you for your ongoing prayers for these students.

The Week of Prayer resource pack will include a DVD, some Prayer Postcards and also ideas for how to use the material.  The DVD contains five short videos which CUs are using to introduce evangelistic talks.  The topics covered are ‘Why does God allow suffering?’, ‘Do all religions lead to God?’, “Does science disprove God?’, ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘What is the meaning of life?’  We hope that this will encourage you to pray for the CUs as they seek to address these questions, and others, as an opening for the gospel, and that you will also find the videos to be a useful resource for your church or youth group
