CU bookings for Word Alive 2018 are open.
A holiday with a difference
Word Alive offers a unique opportunity to gather quality Bible teachers from across the world in one place for one week. Had a hard term? Be refreshed with great teaching morning by morning. Want to dig deeper into God’s Word? Enrich your devotion with input from world-class speakers each day. Want to be sent with Christ in the power of the Spirit? Celebrate with God’s people evening by evening and be encouraged to live for Christ in all of life.
When and where?
Word Alive happens 8-13 April 2018. This year we return to the Pontins site Prestatyn Sands, in North Wales.
Accommodation is in self-catering apartments, but you can also add on half-board meals of you wish.
CU Student Track
Come as a Christian Union to enjoy an exciting and inspiring week that will equip you to thrive in every area of life on campus and beyond. Spend time with your friends and make new ones as you eat, learn, worship, sing, tell stories, pray and unwind together. Be encouraged and spurred on to live for Jesus as you gather together with thousands of other Christians in praise of Him.
The CU Student Track joins with the main programme for the morning Bible teaching and worship. Then you get the chance to think through specific issues and opportunities through training tracks and seminars. You’ll be part of an Impact Group, where you can chat with other students about what you’re learning and experiencing, and pray together. Then it’s time for the evening celebration where everyone gathers to hear God speak and to respond to Him in joyful worship and prayer.
