A feel for the week
Whatever your role as a leader of your CU – a fantastic programme awaits you at Forum.
Each morning and evening, we gather together in the Arena to worship in song, get equipped with great resources and be inspired by speakers Christopher Ash, Mike Pilavachi, Naomi Dawson, Peter Dray, Dorcas González and our Directors Tim Rudge and Richard Cunningham.
Before lunch, we tuck into one of the Mission Equipping Tracks, digging deeper over three days into who our God is and what it means to follow Him in His mission.
It doesn’t stop there. Across the site and across the week, there are workshops to get you thinking about your studies and CU excellence, plus tracks for small CUs and small group leaders. The final afternoon has more relaxed conversations about your concerns, with subjects like social action, befriending across cultures and including people with disabilities.
We have loads of activities to make the most of free time in the sunshine. There are picnic tables, a lake and acres of space on-site to pray, plan and prepare for your CU mission as a group of leaders. Under cover, The Hub holds our mission exhibition centre, Relay Café, and Forum Bookshop by 10ofthose, with the chilled-out Studio next door. Forum Fringe offers an entertaining line-up each afternoon and after hours. Artists of varied descriptions will sing, speak, play and display to help you wind down and take creative ideas back to your campus.
Alongside stretching your minds with God’s truth, and stretching your hearts with God’s love, why not stretch your legs in God’s creation by joining in the outdoor activities for those of all levels, so get involved and don’t forget your kit.
Top tip: Pace yourself – there’s a lot to take in, it’s tempting to get to anything and everything. Take your time, have a good look through the programme and then plan your days.
