“But what will Forum actually be like?” we hear you cry.
Well, with over 1,000 CU leaders, representing around 140 UCCF Christian Unions from across Great Britain, Forum is the right time to pray, dream, plan and prepare for CU mission and get excited about what God could do through you on your campus.
Whether it’s in the meetings, tracks and workshops or through hanging out in the Regional Village, by the lake, around the campfire, or in the Hub, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to be inspired and dream big for the year ahead.
But what else is going on?
Be thinking about the World
It’s easy to grow blinkered in CU and, with all that’s going on, forget there’s a world outside the campus. Well, Jesus loves the whole world and so do we. Forum will have a distinct international flavour to widen our scope of what our global God is doing around His world. Chat to international guests from IFES movements like UCCF, pray and worship during the world mission night and visit all the mission agencies in the Hub exhibition area.
Get re-energised with Forum Fringe
Connect the training you receive with best practice events and uplifting entertainment. Be stimulated by art in The Studio, enjoy music on the Fringe Stage, interact with Forum Film, participate in sport, and have fun with busking in The Fielder. Afternoon and after hours free time will provide many ways to celebrate God’s creativity through Forum Fringe.
Get resourced with training to grow
Start this year with a range of topics to equip you to know God better, lead with conviction and creativity, and grow in your witness in Jesus’ name. Get equipped for mission with a three-day morning track. Engage with CU mission opportunities in a seminar setting each afternoon. Network with other leaders in your field. Share ideas from around the country in guided conversations and spontaneous chats. Forum will replenish your resources and help you to grow.
