Our Team Leaders supervise and pastorally care for a regional team, both for individuals and the team as a whole, as these UCCF staff and volunteers stand with students in evangelism and train, resource and equip CU leaders. Team Leaders co-ordinate this mission to the student world in their region at a strategic level.
Team Leaders also have key roles in UCCF’s Leadership Team; are supported themselves by our Field Director; partake in UCCF’s national Staff Training Programme; and undertake direct student ministry. They also have involvement in national projects and contribute to discussions about how UCCF serves students nationally.
A person who has a heart to see students come to faith in Christ and a passion to help students live and speak for Jesus, as well as leadership, discipleship and teaching skills. You will also need to be a graduate and able to understand the culture of the campus in order to reach non-Christian students.
By the end of their time with UCCF, Team Leaders will have lead and discipled numerous staff and volunteers; influenced and participated in national strategy; trained and equipped hundreds of students in ministry skills; spoken to numerous non-Christian students about the gospel; grown in their love of Jesus Christ; made life-long friendships; been inspired by the way God is working in the students in this country; and undertaken and/or supported their team in cross-cultural evangelism.
