Billy will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Billy is doing Relay in Swansea, supporting the Christian Unions in Swansea University, UWTSD Carmarthen and UWTSD Swansea.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Hello!
I’m Billy and I’m so excited to be part of the Relay programme this year. I’ve spent the last 3 years studying nursing here in Swansea and I’m looking forward to sticking around for another year!
Throughout my uni years, I’ve been really blessed to have been a part of the Christian Union and their mission to give every student the chance to hear the gospel. I’m looking forward to encouraging and equipping students in mission and seeing how God wants to use them over this coming year.
University students have such a unique and wonderful opportunity to reach lives with the gospel, and I’d love to see as many students as possible catch the vision to make Jesus’ name known across these campuses! I’m looking forward to seeing how my faith grows throughout this year through my own study, my time spent studying with students and my involvement with mission on campus.
This year also presents a great opportunity to depend on God’s provision. Relay Workers are entirely self-funded volunteers, so I will need to raise my own financial support for the year, and I would love for you to consider partnering with me in this venture both prayerfully and financially. Such an exciting year lies ahead, and I would really appreciate your partnership in the fun, excitement and challenges that will make up my year.

Partner with Billy
It costs on average £8,000–12,000 to cover the living and ministry expenses of a Relay Worker.
Having a team of people who partner financially and in prayer with Relay Workers means that they can:
- Encourage CU students in their faith in the Lord Jesus.
- Give biblically-grounded answers to students exploring Christianity.
- Support CUs as they seek to give every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
