London Team Projects and Events Staff Worker in our London region.
University was a time of growth and change for Emma's faith in Jesus. She realised that people needed to hear the good news, but how could they if no one ever told them?
Having come to know Jesus at 13, in a faithful church beside the sea in Mumbles (Swansea), Emma went on to study Theology at the University of Birmingham. She loved being a part of the CU there; she found dear friends who envisioned her to share the good news and who weren't afraid to challenge her to live for Jesus in every way.
Emma moved to London in 2018 to complete UCCF's Relay programme and seems to have gotten trapped by our beautifully busy (and smoggy) capital. On Relay it was her joy to learn of God's complete sovereignty in all things, and to see students grow in their love and knowledge of the Lord. She also loved planning events with students and 'making things happen' for different regional events and team days. Emma now works as the 'team projects and events staff worker' for UCCF London, she loves efficiency and organisation, so this role is perfect! It means she gets to plan exciting events that widen opportunities for student evangelism, as well as organise initiatives that equip students to live for Jesus in London. She is also the staff worker for City University of London and is delighted to be standing alongside students in mission; proclaiming the wonder of the good news to their campus.
Emma loves to cook and host friends for dinner, always making sure that they leave well fed! She's a big fan of dogs, seaside walks and red velvet cake.
Please give now to support Emma's vital work with Christian Unions. We can't do this without you.
