Relay Worker in our North West region.
My name is George and I have the pleasure and the privilege of being the Relay Worker at the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University for the upcoming academic year. I have just graduated from university myself and loved being part of my Christian Union. I was constantly in awe of the fantastic example my Relay Worker set and I have truly learnt what it means to live your life wholly for God. It is my hope and prayer that I can do the same for the Christian Union members in Liverpool.
Being a Relay Worker is not something I can do alone. As a volunteer it is my responsibility and joy to raise funds to support my living expenses whilst in Liverpool. I would be extremely grateful for anything you can contribute, whether you can £2, £10, £20 or £50 a month, it is all valuable and appreciated!
Another equally important form of support I need is prayer. I know God will be carrying me the whole way, helping me to serve, grow, and rely on Him. I would love for you to join my prayer team who will pray for me and the students.
I have felt and seen the wonder of someone giving their life to Jesus at university and I cannot wait to be part of the mission in Liverpool Christian Unions. Please consider supporting me for this year and I hope to take you along this journey with me in making Christ’s name known!
It costs on average £7,000–10,000 to cover the living and ministry expenses of a Relay Worker.
Having a team of people who partner financially and in prayer with Relay Workers means that they can:
