Hamish will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Hamish is doing Relay in Durham, supporting the Christian Union in Durham University.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Hello! My name is Hamish and I have the privilege of supporting the Durham CU as a Relay worker this coming year!
I have enjoyed 3 amazing years at the University of Bristol, and cannot wait to see how our Father uses me as I take the next step. Serving the Bristol CU was one of the main highlight of my time at university, and taught me so much about the character of Jesus and also myself. I was taught time and time again that I am unable to do anything in my own strength, and drew such comfort from the hope and rest found through relationship with Christ. I cannot wait to learn so much more as I move to the opposite end of the country, especially of the family to be found wherever the gospel is taught!
Relay is a volunteer programme, and as such I shall be relying on sponsors for all kinds of support. If you would like to support me in prayer, financially or both, it would be such a blessing to hear from you! Please find on this page the links to my prayer letter and fundraising pages.
I am so thankful that despite a whole host of changes occurring in my life, my Father continues to be the sure foundation of my life. I am so looking forward to furthering the word of the gospel in Durham over this next year!

- I am moving to a new city, leaving behind friends and familiarity. Prayer that I may make new friends and settle easily into a new way of life would be very much appreciated.
- I love sport and music, and have been so blessed to indulge in these much loved pastimes. Please be praying that I am able to find time and the means to continue with these hobbies.
- I am so looking forward to learning more of the heart of Christ. I would love prayer for my Bible reading, that I am able to reveal the beauty and simplicity of the gospel to everyone around me.
