Hannah will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Hannah is doing Relay in Birmingham, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Birmingham.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Hannah says...
After studying English Literature at the University of Birmingham and being involved in the Christian Union, I am super excited to be serving them for another year as a Relay Worker.
The Christian Union has been such a huge part of my university experience, and they helped me so much to settle in, make friends and find a church in Birmingham. Someone's time at university is pivotal to discovering who they are and their purpose, and it is so important that the good news of Jesus is shared with them during that time. The gospel brings so much joy, hope and purpose, and no one should go through university without experiencing it for themselves! I am so excited to serve alongside students at the CU, learning and growing in faith with them as we share Jesus with the campus.
My faith has grown so much whilst being at university, and I can't wait for it to grow even more as I learn to trust God wholeheartedly during this year of serving and studying.

- Please pray that I would trust God wholeheartedly this year in all that I do to support the University of Birmingham CU.
- Please pray that God's provision would be sufficient in allowing me to serve the CU faithfully.
- Please also pray that God would provide opportunities for both myself and the CU to reach as many students on campus as possible with the good news of Jesus!

It costs on average £8,000–12,000 to cover the living and ministry expenses of a Relay Worker.
Having a team of people who partner financially and in prayer with Relay Workers means that they can:
- Encourage CU students in their faith in the Lord Jesus.
- Give biblically-grounded answers to students exploring Christianity.
- Support CUs as they seek to give every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
