Hannah will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Hannah is doing Relay in Norwich, supporting the Christian Union in East Anglia, University of (UEA).
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Hannah says...
Hi! I'm Hannah, a 2022 UEA graduate, and I have been given the wonderful opportunity to serve God through UCCF's Relay Programme, specifically working alongside the University of East Anglia (UEA) Christian Union!
I have had the privileged to have been part of UEA CU for the past three years whilst I have been studying an BSc in adult nursing! Now that is finished, I am so excited to be able to stay at UEA to encourage, support and get alongside students as they share the Gospel with their friends and the wider campus.
I am particularly excited for the CU's regular outreach events as I've already seen some of the incredible conversations that they can start. I've really come to see what a unique stage of life being a student is, and how it presents such an exciting opportunity to share the incredible news of the Gospel. Many students have questions and are open to hearing the Christian perspective on the big questions that life poses and I can't wait to be able to support the Christian students at UEA in answering those questions and pointing people to Jesus!
As part of the Relay programme, I will be gathering a team of people to support me, financially and in prayer. I would love it if you'd consider partnering with me in either or both of those ways! Any financial gifts will be so valuable in helping to fund my living and ministry expenses and would be so gratefully received. Also, I will be sending out monthly prayer letters to keep you up-to-date on what I am involved with and with specific things for prayer, so you can be praying along with me throughout this year!

It costs on average £8,000–12,000 to cover the living and ministry expenses of a Relay Worker.

- Encourage CU students in their faith in the Lord Jesus.
- Give biblically-grounded answers to students exploring Christianity.
- Support CUs as they seek to give every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
