Relay Worker.
Katie is doing Relay in Dublin.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
This year I am very excited to be in city centre Dublin as the Relay Worker for Trinity College Dublin. Having just graduated as a student from Trinity myself, I am delighted to return to work alongside the Christian Union to help share the joy of Jesus with others. I come into this year ahead expectant to see God and his faithfulness permeate the college.
I believe the CU to be a core place for students to gain enthusiasm and perspective in how to evangelise to their peers. I’m excited to support and encourage the students in this and to see the growth that will stem from TCD CU. The position of Relay Worker will allow me to give back to the Christian community of Dublin and to share my enthusiasm for the gospel. The internship provides opportunities for leadership training, discipleship and an advancement of theological understanding.
Raising money for this role is an integral part of Relay as it creates an opportunity to grow in faith and dependence on God, learning to trust more in the Lords promise of provision.
My living and ministry costs will be €10,000 to €12,000 for the year. I would love if you could prayerfully consider supporting me both financially and through prayer throughout my year on Relay. If you would like to support me financially this can be done through getting in touch with me directly for Irish supporters or through using Stewardship if you are a NI or UK supporter.
