Lydia will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Lydia is doing Relay in Birmingham, supporting the Christian Unions in Aston University and the University of Birmingham.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

I’ve just finished studying Audiology at Aston University, and instead of launching straight into all things ears, I’m so excited to be serving some of the CUs in Birmingham as a Relay Worker!
I've loved being part of CU, it has massively helped me to be excited to share Jesus with my flatmates. I've been so encouraged to see God working on campus and seeing our friends come to know Him. So I am so excited to be around for another year and to help students dream big about CU mission. I’m particularly excited to grow my Bible handling skills and to read the Bible with students over many cups of tea.
I would love to invite you to partner with me over my Relay year. My role as a Relay Worker is voluntary, so I need to raise the costs for my living expenses and ministry and would love you to prayerfully consider if you could be a part of my support team financially.
