Meghan will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Meghan is doing Relay in Nottingham, supporting the Christian Unions in Nottingham Trent University - City Campus and the University of Nottingham.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Hi I’m Meghan. I’ve just graduated from the first portion of my Veterinary Medicine degree and am now taking a year out to do Relay. I’m excited to work alongside the Universities in Nottingham, supporting them, and growing in my own faith and love for God.
For many years I’ve been inspired and changed by the work of CUs and now I want to try and give back some of what I have received. I’ve become passionate about helping others to follow Jesus and part of that is helping students to share their faith better. I hope that during my year doing Relay I can partner with students to help them to tell other students on campus about Jesus and can spend time learning and studying the Bible to set me up to keep living for Jesus no matter what I do next.
I would love you to join in supporting me. I would be encouraged by your prayer, so please sign up to receive my regular prayer letters where I can update you on how my work is going and share ways in which I would appreciate your prayer. As my role this year is voluntary, I will be relying on the generosity of financial supporters. I would be grateful if you would prayerfully consider supporting me in this way. Your gift will go towards funding my living expenses to support my ministry and equip me with resources.
