Millie will be starting work with UCCF as CU Staff Worker in August 2021.
I’m going to Falmouth to be the next CU Staff Worker there and I’m so excited. I remember my first CU meeting so clearly! Our Vice-President Nana welcomed us all, then swiftly introduced us to the purpose of CU- that every student on campus would have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I remember being SO scared and yet SO excited. I knew I couldn’t say no.
Over those three years, by God’s grace, being a part of CU was an immeasurable blessing. My time at university was so significant for my growth as I learnt to trust in Him when faced with tasks I felt unequipped for, as I worshipped and served with brothers and sisters from completely different denominations and backgrounds and as I realised more and more as we shared the gospel, the deep conviction with which I believed it really was the best news. It was mind-blowing to see the ways that the Lord by his grace and spirit was at work. I’m particularly excited about Falmouth campus. I studied Fine Art and one of the particular thrills of evangelism on an Art’s campus was the open mindedness and social consciousness of Art’s students. This led to such exciting conversations and it was amazing to see how the Gospel affirmed, challenged and provided a fuller and more satisfactory answer in Jesus to a huge variety of worldviews. It was such a joy, and I feel utterly privileged to have this opportunity to encourage and equip students to join in this same exciting mission in
