Rebecca will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Rebecca is doing Relay in Stirling, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Stirling.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Rebecca says...
Hey, I’m Rebecca and I have just finished a degree in Mathematics at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. I have absolutely loved my time as a student and especially loved getting involved in the CU these past few years.
I have been so encouraged by the work of the CU throughout my time at Uni, especially walking and growing with other Christians my age. Seeing this growth, not only in my own faith but also in the younger years joining the CU, has been incredibly inspiring. I am excited for this next step in Relay where I can work with the students in Stirling to fuel this same growth, especially as they share the gospel with their Uni friends.
I am looking forward to investing in these students, both individually and as a whole CU. I would greatly appreciate your partnership and support as I depend on God for the wisdom to do this. I will be sending out regular prayer letters that I would love for you to sign up to and support me in this way. I would also appreciate if you would consider partnering with me financially to support my living costs this next year.

Prayer is a vital part of supporting Rebecca’s work with Christian Unions. Here are some prayer points from Rebecca:
- Pray that the students in Stirling will be continually growing in their walk and love for Jesus, and that this would flow out into the sharing of their faith with others around them
- Pray that I will always be reminded to have full dependency on God’s strength and not my own, especially in the raising of support for this year
- Pray that I will use this year to grow in my own relationship with God and that I will invest fully and joyfully in my studies of His Word

- Encourage CU students in their faith in the Lord Jesus.
- Give biblically-grounded answers to students exploring Christianity.
- Support CUs as they seek to give every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
