Sarah will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Sarah is doing Relay in Dublin.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
I'm immensely looking forward to starting this next year supporting students at Trinity College Dublin as they seek to grow in knowledge and love of Christ and to make Him known on their campus. I believe that being a student is an incredibly important moment in the spiritual life of Christians. With the apron strings cut, it gives Christian students an opportunity to discover their faith for themselves and how to live in the light of what they believe. This also comes with challenges as the world can be a luring place as a student. I pray that God will use me this year to walk alongside these students and show them how to pursue a life of holiness, showing them that the way God created us to live is better than anything the world tries to offer them. This also creates great opportunities. When non-Christian students are also searching for their own identity in the world, I pray that this year, we at Trinity CU can point them to their true identity as God's loving creation.
I would appreciate your financial support this year. But also, please pray for me this year. 'Unless the Lord builds the house the builders labour in vain'. Without God, none of what I would like to do to support these students would be possible. WITH Him, amazing things are possible, 'immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine'!
