Sarah will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Sarah is doing Relay in Dundee, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Dundee.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am from Morpeth, a small town in the North East of England. I have just graduated from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, where I studied Paediatric Nursing. My three years at university were a time of real spiritual growth where I enjoyed being part of the Christian Union. This was such a great forum for fellow Christians to encourage each other in faith and mission. I am really excited to have the opportunity to continue my involvement with students from September as I take on the role of Relay Worker for Dundee Christian Union. I can’t wait to see how God is going to use the CU this year!
It is such a blessing to be able to work with the Dundee CU, helping to equip and encourage them, getting alongside the students through Bible studies and one-to-one meet ups, whilst also growing in my own faith too.
Prayer will be a vital part of my year on Relay, so I am hoping that you might partner with me in prayer throughout the year. I will send regular updates of everything I am involved in, as well as prayer requests and items for praise and thanks.

It costs on average £8,000–12,000 to cover the living and ministry expenses of a Relay Worker.
Having a team of people who partner financially and in prayer with Relay Workers means that they can:
- Encourage CU students in their faith in the Lord Jesus.
- Give biblically-grounded answers to students exploring Christianity.
- Support CUs as they seek to give every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
