Zach will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2022.
Zach is doing Relay in Birmingham, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Birmingham.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Zach says...
Hi! From September, I will be working as a Relay Worker in Birmingham.
Being a part of and serving the Christian Union was one of the highlights of my time at the University of Birmingham. When I first moved here, I was blown away by how willing students were to hear about who Jesus is, and quickly realised the unique opportunity we have at university to share our faith and our lives with the new people we were interacting with day by day. So, to get alongside the students and help grow their love for CU mission, as the Relay Workers and Staff in the past had done for me, really excites me. Helping people to think through and ask the big questions they have about faith and show them who Jesus is, is something I’ve also really enjoyed, so I can't wait to receive training to learn how to do that better.
In order for all of this to be possible, I will be hugely reliant on prayer and financial support from people like you. - Please pray that I will adjust to living in Birmingham as a regular non-student, and that I would trust in God to provide everything I need for the year.

- Please pray that God will work in the hearts of those in the CU in Birmingham, and that He will grow their passion to serve Him and use them to grow His Kingdom.
